Sarah Hereward would like to welcome everyone to the Lewiston School of Dance, nestled right here in Horley. With over 47 years of history, it's a place many know for top-notch training in both classical ballet and modern theatre.
Sarah's school offers classes in R.A.D Ballet and I.S.T.D modern theatre, catering to dancers of all ages and skill levels. It all starts with the 'Babies class' for little ones from 3 years old. From there, students move through the ranks of Intermediate Ballet and Modern classes, all following the detailed R.A.D and I.S.T.D syllabus.
One event Sarah looks forward to each year is the choreographic competition, a chance for dancers to show off their creative flair and performance skills. Every couple of years, there’s also a school-wide display where students showcase their hard work to friends, family, and the local community.
Lewiston School of Dance has a strong reputation for excellent examination results. Many of Sarah's former students have gone on to further dance education in London, with some becoming teachers and performers on big stages worldwide. It's inspiring to see past students come back, having established their own dance schools and passing on their passion to new generations.
