It is important to note that the Light Cavalry is unable to accommodate beginners. Riders must have prior experience and be proficient in walking, trotting, and have learned to canter. They should also demonstrate balance and the ability to be in full control of their horse's direction.

Private, semi-private, and group lessons are offered in the indoor arena, all conducted by qualified instructors from the British Horse Society (BHS). Regardless of skill level, riders can receive personalised instruction to improve their equestrian abilities.
