Lindley Bowling Club

Was a small wooden pavilion on the site, but in the early 1950s, it was replaced by the current clubhouse which has undergone several renovations and improvements over the years.

Lindley Bowling Club is committed to promoting the sport of Crown Green Bowling and providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for its members. With its tranquil surroundings and beautiful gardens, the club offers a unique setting where members can forge lifelong friendships while enjoying the sport they love.

Members of Lindley Bowling Club have the opportunity to play Crown Green Bowls competitively in local leagues. The club competes in nine leagues, catering to players of all skill levels. There are 20 teams in total, with 15 teams open to both men and women. The club also has teams specifically for veterans and ladies.

From Monday mornings to Saturday afternoons, there is a league for everyone to participate in and showcase their bowling skills.

For those who are new to the sport or want to improve their skills, Lindley Bowling Club offers coaching and free equipment hire. Whether you're a beginner or looking to elevate your game, the club's experienced coaches will guide you and help you reach your goals.

In addition to competitive bowling, Lindley Bowling Club also provides opportunities for social bowling. Members can come together and enjoy a casual game of bowling with friends, taking advantage of the club's renowned bowling greens. There are designated days and times for mixed bowling sessions, veteran sessions, and ladies' sessions. Members are also free to bowl socially at any time during the week, except league competitions and private functions.
