Lisa Hill Balanced Fitness is a Pilates studio and wellness centre located in Wokingham, Berkshire. Lisa is a qualified personal trainer and has been a fully qualified Pilates instructor for over 12 years. She has also earned a Level 5 MELT instructor qualification, using techniques that restore optimal function for effective and efficient movement. Lisa has combined all of these disciplines to create Balanced Fitness, offering classes suitable for all ages and abilities.
The studio offers a variety of classes, including 1-2-1 sessions, group Pilates/MELT classes, cardio strength and conditioning, and sessions specifically designed for older adults. The classes take place at Lisa's studio in Wokingham, as well as at St. Sebastian's Church Hall and the Pavillon, both located in Wokingham.
Lisa prides herself on knowing each of her clients personally, and before joining her community, new clients are required to have an introductory face-to-face session. This allows Lisa to understand their unique requirements and advise the best course of action. Every client is treated individually, and Lisa helps them decide the option that's right for them.
Lisa is committed to working with clients who are in rehabilitation or need extra guidance. She frequently sees 1-2-1 clients on a weekly basis who have been referred by chiropractors and physiotherapists. Lisa is happy to liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure her clients receive the best treatment for their condition.
In addition to her qualifications, Lisa is also qualified to work with ante and postnatal clients and older adults. She has acquired extensive knowledge about the menopause and enjoys helping women during this stage of their lives.
Lisa's Balanced Fitness approach to good health has earned her a loyal client base, with many clients having trained with her for as long as she has been teaching. Her dedication and expertise have been recognised, as she has been awarded the Prestige Awards Pilates Classes of the Year for London and the South-East in both 2022 and 2023. Most recently, she was also named Personal Trainer of the Year for the South England Prestige Programme in 2023/24.
