Little Teddy Bear Gymnastics Classes

Little Teddy Bear Gymnastics Classes at Ipswich Gymnastics Centre are perfect for children aged 2 to 3 years who want to dip their toes into the exciting world of gymnastics. It's a fantastic opportunity for them to develop the foundations of gymnastic skills in a fun and structured environment.

During the 8-week course, children will work towards an award scheme that provides them with a sense of direction and purpose. It's all about progress and achievement, with a non-competitive approach. In the penultimate week of the course, there's a 'Test Week' where children can demonstrate their newly acquired skills. If they pass, they can move on to the next level in the following term, which is a great motivator for them to keep pushing themselves.

The classes start with a Whole Group Warm Up, where the little ones get active and focused through an action song. Then, they break into smaller groups based on their ability level and spend time on different apparatus, working on the award scheme. There's also some free playtime at the end, where children can let loose and enjoy their favourite activities. Parents and carers are welcome to come in and supervise during this time.

To wrap up the class, there's a special moment where everyone gathers on the floor area to sing the Teddy Bear Song and say goodbye. It's a lovely way to end the session on a positive note.
