Little Monsters Swim School

Little Monsters Swim School is an AUSTSWIM accredited sports club located in Sydney's Inner West. They specialise in Parents and Babies and Learn To Swim classes for children aged 6 months to 6 years. The school aims to teach vital water safety skills, create a fun and positive learning atmosphere, and develop efficient swim technique that will last a lifetime.

The swim school operates during Term 4, from October 9 to December 16, and accepts enrolments throughout the term. Swimmers can enrol at any time and only pay for the remaining weeks available in the term. All classes take place in an indoor pool that is heated to a warm 32 degrees, ensuring a comfortable swimming environment all year round.

Little Monsters Swim School prides itself on offering a personalised programme with small class sizes. With only 2 teachers in the water at any one time, each swimmer receives individual attention that helps accelerate the learning process. The school is also an approved provider for both the Active Kids and First Lap programmes, and their FAQ section provides information on how to redeem these vouchers.

Safety is a top priority at Little Monsters Swim School. The school has implemented guidelines to ensure a safe and workable environment for everyone. These include entering the building through a specific entrance, entering the pool area at lesson start time, and ensuring that all swimmers come dressed in swimwear. If a swimmer or their caregiver is unwell, they are asked not to attend, and they can record their absence online.

The pool temperature is consistently maintained at 32 degrees, providing a warm and comfortable swimming experience. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the café and playground areas are currently unavailable, but the school looks forward to being able to offer these amenities in the future.

The founder of Little Monsters Swim School, Dominic Gili, has over 20 years of experience in teaching swimming and managing swim schools. His teaching philosophy focuses on small class sizes to ensure personalised attention and accelerated learning. The school's focus is on water safety education and survival skills, and all of their teachers are qualified with AUSTSWIM.
