At LKM Performing Arts, we offer a wide range of classes for children of all ages and skill levels. For babies and pre-schoolers (ages 6 months to 5 years), we have classes that focus on building confidence, creativity, coordination, and most importantly, having fun! These classes include jazz, tap, ballet, and tiny tumblers.
For pre-teens (Year 4 to Year 6), we offer classes that develop skills in tap, classical ballet, contemporary, hip hop, and more. In a safe and supportive environment, pre-teens can explore different dance styles and find their passion.
We also offer drama and singing classes for children in Year 1 to Year 12. These dynamic programmes aim to develop confidence, creativity, imagination, and communication skills.
For those interested in acrobatics and cheerleading, we have classes for children in Year 1 to Year 10. Our acrobatic arts classes combine tumbling, partner work, and dance to create a dynamic and exciting experience. Students can also combine their acro class with a recreational cheer class to enhance their fitness, self-esteem, and teamwork.
Primary school children (Kindy and Year 1) can join our jazz, tap, ballet, acro, and cheer classes to make new friends and ignite their passion for performing arts.
Teens (Year 7 to Year 10) who love the performing arts or are preparing for full-time dance can find classes that cater to their interests and goals.
We also offer classes specifically for boys called the Boyz Krew. In this class, boys can learn the latest hip hop and breakdance moves.
For those who prefer tap dancing, we have classes for children in Year 1 to Year 12. These classes focus on rhythm, agility, and musicality, using the renowned Glenn Wood Tap Syllabus.
Junior (Year 2 & Year 3) and senior (Year 10+) students can explore their creativity further with classes in all dance styles, acro, cheer, singing, musical theatre, and more.
Ballet enthusiasts can join our ballet classes, which cater to different age groups from Year 1 to Year 12. Ballet is a traditional and classical form of dance that provides a strong technical foundation for all other dance styles.
With multiple studio locations, including Springwood and Winmalee in Australia, LKM Performing Arts is accessible to families in the Springwood area. We offer a free trial for new students to experience the joy of dancing and performing arts.
