Noel has won the British Association for Shooting and Conservation's Stanley Duncan Award for conservation, an achievement that reflects his dedication to the environment.

Noel's own fishing journey started in his early years, fishing with just a bamboo pole and a bent pin for a hook in the village pond. Over the years, he has fished in various locations around the world, including Australia, Ireland, Scandinavia, and America. His favourite fish to eat is catfish, and he particularly enjoys fishing for catfish and sewin on the spinner.
