If you prefer a more comfortable stay, Lochlorian also provides a fully self-contained cabin. Powered by 12-volt solar power and gas, the cabin features a well-equipped kitchen with a gas stove top, refrigerator, and heating. Guests can expect to find crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, and other kitchen essentials, while tea towels, hand towels, and detergent are provided. The cabin includes a sitting room with a two-seater lounge and a fold-out single bed, a bathroom with hot water and necessary toiletries, and a loft area with a queen-size bed and three single beds.
Warm bedding is provided, and additional bedding can be brought if needed.
Lochlorian emphasises the need to bring warm clothing, even in summer, and recommends slippers or uggies to keep feet warm on the kitchen tiles. As the power supply is 12-volt, electrical appliances such as hairdryers and razors cannot be used.
