About
"Love Tai Chi" is a popular gym in Macclesfield, specialising in Yang style Tai Chi and Chi Kung. Joseph, the owner and instructor, has over 20 years of teaching experience. He's registered with The Tai Chi Union for Great Britain and is deeply passionate about Chinese internal arts.
Joseph has taught at various institutions including MMU, David Lloyd Leisure, Arden School of Theatre, North Trafford College, Village Hotels, and Target Fitness. His students range from children to senior citizens, gymnasts to musicians, and more.
Tai Chi is known for its slow, graceful movements, requiring minimal space and no equipment. It combines conscious relaxation and deep breathing, improving body condition, suppleness, and strength. It's also recognised for enhancing memory and cognitive function.
At "Love Tai Chi," the focus is the Yang Short Form, also known as the 37 Postures. This form, adapted by Cheng Man Ching, is a third of the traditional length, eliminating repetitive movements.
For more info or to join a class, email contact@lovetaiji.co.uk or visit their Facebook page. Classes are suitable for all levels, and Joseph can tailor sessions to fit individual needs. Additionally, don't miss the annual Tai Chi Caledonia event at Stirling University Campus in Scotland.
