About
Lytham St Annes YMCA Football Club is the oldest junior football club on the Blackpool and Fylde Coast, kicking off in the late 1920s. The club, based on St Albans Rd in St Annes On Sea, started from humble beginnings in a wooden hut, but now boasts a modern brick building and a state-of-the-art facility, thanks to a £3.4m lottery grant in 2000.
Lytham St Annes YMCA is an FA Charter Standard Community Club and recently teamed up with Nike as a Nike Partner Club. This means they get some pretty cool perks and support from Nike.
The club fields various teams, and for details about any of them, you can contact the team managers directly. The club's website also has a gallery full of photos capturing its rich history and evolution.
Affiliated with the Lancashire FA and a member of the National Association of Boys Clubs, the club competes in leagues such as the Poulton & District Primary League, the Blackpool & District Youth League, and the North Valley Youth League.
The executive committee keeps everything running smoothly, with Mark Cowburn as President, Steve Spencer as Vice President, Phil Sullivan as Chairman, Darren Littler as Vice Chairman, Keith Drury as Club Secretary, and Rodger De Nobrega handling both Treasurer and Welfare Officer duties.
The club has racked up numerous honours over the years, including league championships, cup victories, and tournament wins, always focusing on nurturing talent and promoting football locally.
For any questions or to get in touch, you can contact Keith Drury, the club secretary, on 07801 809166 or at keith.drury@btinternet.com.
