Nestled in the breathtaking Cotswolds countryside, specifically at the Lower Moor Nature Reserve Centre near Oaksey, our location offers anglers an unparalleled fishing experience. Mallard Lake, one of over 150 lakes in the renowned Cotswold Water Park, is a true gem for trout fly-fishing enthusiasts. What sets it apart is its designation as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, thanks to the presence of rare water plants and its crystal-clear alkaline water.
At Mallard Flyfishers Syndicate, we take pride in offering fly-fishing opportunities for our Syndicate members and their guests throughout the year, without any close season restrictions. To enhance your fishing experience, we also provide the use of rowing boats. Whether you prefer catch and release or catch and kill, we cater to your fishing preferences.

Moreover, we offer angling tuition at a discounted rate, so beginners can learn the ropes and seasoned anglers can improve their skills.
When it comes to membership, our fees are competitive and reasonable. A yearly membership costs £295.00, with a one-time joining fee of £40.00 for new members. As an added bonus, members can also enjoy the opportunity to engage in pike fishing during the months of January and February.
To ensure the safety and protection of our members, we are proud to be affiliated with the Angling Trust, which provides us with comprehensive insurance coverage. Additionally, all members are required to join the esteemed Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, further contributing to the conservation efforts of our natural surroundings.
