Lucy Feyi-Sobanjo is the passionate and dedicated teacher behind MamaBabyBliss Derby, offering a range of yoga and massage classes for pregnancy, new mums, babies, and toddlers. Lucy has a deep understanding of the challenges and joys that come with motherhood, as she is a mother herself to Eniola and Temilade.
Lucy's journey into teaching MamaBabyBliss classes began after her own positive experiences as a participant. She attended MamaBabyBliss classes throughout her pregnancy, where she practised yoga and learned the art of baby massage. These classes not only helped her stay fit and healthy during pregnancy but also provided her with a supportive community of fellow mums. Lucy felt confident in her body, empowered during labour, and connected with her babies amidst the ever-changing world around her.
Inspired by her own transformative experiences, Lucy decided to become a MamaBabyBliss teacher and support other mums in their motherhood journey. She is a true believer in the MamaBabyBliss message that mums are just as important as their babies and deserve to be looked after. Lucy is dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing space for mums to connect, learn, and grow.
In addition to running classes in English, Lucy also offers classes using British Sign Language (BSL) for Deaf mums and parents who use BSL as their first language. With her BSL Level 3 certification and years of involvement in the Deaf community, Lucy is passionate about providing equal opportunities to Deaf women. By offering the same classes in BSL, she ensures that Deaf mums can also benefit from the MamaBabyBliss experience.
