Manningham Volleyball is a vibrant and inclusive club located in Donvale, Victoria. The club organises and runs both indoor volleyball competitions for adults and juniors at Mullum Mullum Stadium. It warmly welcomes individuals of all ages and skill levels to join in the fun and excitement of volleyball.
For adults, Manningham Volleyball offers training and skills sessions on Sundays from 12:30pm to 2:00pm. These sessions are suitable for beginners to intermediate players and provide an opportunity to learn and improve volleyball techniques. The final training session for the year is on December 17, and the first session for 2024 will be on January 14. The club also organises an adult social competition for the 2023/2024 summer season. Sunday games are scheduled from 1:00pm to 8:40pm, offering a range of divisions to suit different skill levels. Division 1, Division 1 Reserve, Division 2, and Division 3 are available, with Division 2 and Division 2 Reserve already full. Manningham Volleyball emphasises the fun and active nature of the sport. Volleyball is a non-contact sport, but there is plenty of action on the court. Players can expect to jump, spike, dive, slide, block, set, dig, serve, run, and stretch during a game. It is a great way to keep fit and enjoy a challenging workout.

The cost of participating in the adult social competition is $75 per team, per game. The exact cost per player varies depending on the team size, ranging from $7. 50 to $12. 50.
A team bond fee of $75 is also required at the start of the season or when joining the competition. This fee is refundable at the end of the season, subject to the club's by-law 3. 1. Payments can be made in cash or by card, with a $1 surcharge for card transactions.
Registration is free for new teams, and Manningham Volleyball welcomes new additions to the competition throughout the season.
Games are 60 minutes long, preceded by a 5-minute warm-up period. Teams are divided into several divisions based on skill level: Division 1, Division 1 Reserve, Division 2, Division 2 Reserve, and Division 3. Division 1 is the highest level, catering to experienced players, while Division 3 is suitable for beginners or those new to volleyball.
The playing seasons align with school terms, with summer running from Terms 4 and 1, and winter running from Terms 2 and 3. The 2023 winter season begins on April 16, with the semi-finals scheduled for September 24 and the grand finals and 3rd place finals on October 1. The 2023/2024 summer season starts on October 8, 2023, with finals scheduled for April.
