The Mansfield Swimming Club is excited to announce the upcoming Mansfield Club Championships, a highly anticipated event that aims to bring our club members together for a day of exhilarating and competitive swimming.
During the championships, our talented swimmers will have the chance to showcase their skills and determination as they race against each other. This event not only provides an opportunity to determine the male and female champions in each age group but also allows swimmers to attempt to break our esteemed club records.
Swimmers are encouraged to give it their all and swim their preferred stroke in the pursuit of achieving their personal best times. Every participant will earn points based on their placings in each event within their respective age groups. The results of this exciting competition will be announced and celebrated during our prestigious Presentation Night where ribbons and championship trophies will be awarded.
We wholeheartedly encourage all of our club members to enter all the available swimming events. Please keep in mind that the age group for entry is determined by the swimmer's age on 1st December of the current season.
What's even more exciting is that there is no cost for our club members to enter the Club Championships. We want to ensure that this event is accessible and enjoyable for all of our dedicated swimmers. In adherence to the rules set by Swimming Victoria, swimmers are also allowed to enter their own age group and the Open age group.
To be eligible for the prestigious titles of Age and/or Open Champion, it is essential for swimmers to make themselves available to swim in at least 50% of pennants. This ensures a fair and competitive environment for all participants.
