Welcome to Margate Yoga Studio, an open and friendly yoga studio located in Margate, New Zealand. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, our studio welcomes all levels of yogis to join our vibrant community of yoga enthusiasts.
At Margate Yoga Studio, we offer a variety of classes and workshops designed to cater to different needs and preferences. From beginners' yoga classes taught in a nurturing and informative environment to more advanced classes, we strive to create a diverse range of options for our students.
One of our upcoming workshops is Breathwork and Intention Setting for 2024, led by Anna Brook from Shala Breathwork & Intention Setting Circle. This workshop, scheduled for Saturday, 13th January from 2 to 4pm, aims to bring in the symbolism of the new year and help participants feel focused, inspired, and aligned with their values. The workshop incorporates breathwork practises, self-enquiry exercises, journaling, and sharing circles to facilitate personal growth and intention setting for the year ahead.
The Conscious Connected Breathwork technique used in this workshop is revolutionary and has the potential to release deep stored tension and stress while connecting participants to higher states of consciousness. Through guided breathwork journeys, individuals can experience unique outcomes such as greater ease, clarity, expansiveness, connexion to source, deep bliss, emotional release, or astral travel. This multifaceted approach to breathwork combines breathing techniques with movement, massage, affirmations, and visualisations for a holistic mind-body-spirit experience. The workshop concludes with a deeply restorative relaxation session to integrate the wisdom of the breath into participants' systems.
