Marian Booth Dance Lessons in Stratford-upon-Avon is the go-to place for anyone wanting to give dancing a go. Marian Booth, the mastermind behind it all, believes anyone can learn to dance, no matter their experience or natural rhythm.

Marian's journey in dance started way back in the 70s competition scene. After years on the floor, she switched gears and trained up as a teacher. Now, she's a Fellow of the International Dance Teachers Association (FIDTA). Her husband, Anthony, aka 'Digger', is also a qualified pro with the IDTA.

In her classes, Marian mainly focuses on traditional Ballroom and Latin American styles but throws in some Merengue, Salsa, and Argentine Tango for good measure. She’s great at teaching wedding dances and offers private lessons too. Plus, she's prepped many dancers for professional IDTA qualifications.

Classes run on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 7:30 pm. Tuesday is for beginners, and Thursday is for those looking to step up their game. Each session is an hour of solid dancing and good laughs. Marian’s vibe is welcoming and relaxed, making it easy for everyone to have a good time.

Marian also hosts dance practise sessions/tea dances on the odd Sunday from 4 pm to 6 pm. These get-togethers include tea, coffee, cake, and biscuits, and dancers from other schools are welcome too.

And don’t miss the big New Year's Eve bash at Jubilee Hall in Clifford Chambers. It’s a night packed with barn dances, disco, party dances, and whatever else people fancy. No need for a partner or dance experience, and it's a bring-your-own-booze and dish kind of deal. Dress code? Pretty much anything goes.
