Marlborough Bowls Club

Welcome to Marlborough Bowls Club, a friendly and established club located in Marlborough, New Zealand. Founded in 1934, our club offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members.

Monday evenings are club nights, and we encourage everyone to join us, weather permitting. No equipment is needed, just bring along some flat shoes or trainers. If you're new to the sport and would like to try your hand at bowls, we will be hosting an open weekend on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th May from 1pm-5pm. To guarantee a timed one-hour slot, please contact Clive Watson at 07825835789 to make a booking.

Refreshments will be available for all participants.

Coaching is also available at our club. We offer coaching sessions for beginners on Monday nights, except for bank holidays. There will be two sessions available, from 6:30pm to 7:15pm, and from 7:15pm to 8:00pm. For more experienced coaching, including team building or one-on-one advice, please contact Bob Grice directly.

We also offer video analysis sessions, which require prior booking and a warm-up period.

During the winter months, we have short mat bowls available in the clubhouse, and outside ptanque to keep our members entertained. We also have a bar and a social committee that organises monthly events for our members to enjoy.

Our club is located at the Recreation Ground on Salisbury Road in Marlborough. We welcome new members, and those who have not bowled before can take advantage of our half-price membership offer at 32. 50. To stay updated with our club's news and events, follow us on social media.
