Experience the joy of dancing to wonderful music at the Masked Mediaeval and Renaissance Ball. This event, organised by the Folk Federation of Tasmania Inc, will take place on March 9, 2024. The ball will feature the lively tunes of Jounce Ensemble, creating a vibrant atmosphere for all attendees. Whether you are a seasoned dancer or a newcomer, this event is suitable for everyone. No partner or dancing experience is required, and all ages and identities are welcome. The ball will showcase various dance styles, including bush dances, balkan dances, regency dances, renaissance dances, Irish ceilis, Scottish ceilidhs, contra, Balfolk, Klezmer, Steampunk, contemporary, and traditional Australian dances. It will be held at St James Hall in Hobart, Tasmania. Join the club for four hours of dancing, live music, and a memorable night of joy and laughter.
