About
Melissa Stark has breathed new life into the Masterton Social Badminton Club (MSBC) right in the heart of Masterton, New Zealand. Every Friday night from January to December, badminton players of all levels gather at the Chanel College gym. Doors swing open at 7:00 pm for warm-up, and the first shuttlecock flies at 7:15 pm, with the session wrapping up by 9:00 pm. All this fun is just $5 per night.
Forgot your racket? No problem. MSBC has you covered with rackets ready for use. They even offer a racket stringing service, though it’s sometimes unavailable due to maintenance.
Safety is a priority at MSBC, and the club strictly follows any Covid-19 guidelines to protect all participants. In times of high alert, like during the Red light status, Melissa ensures the club pauses activities to keep everyone safe.
The club has also teamed up with Sporty.NZ to streamline operations, making online registrations and communications a breeze. This partnership supports increased participation and keeps everything running smoothly through mobile apps and eNewsletters.
Whether you're a seasoned player or just getting started, MSBC welcomes everyone to join the action on Friday nights. Come and share the love for badminton with a community that thrives on the thrill of the game.
