The Matayoshi Kobudo Kodokan International UK Branch is excited to announce their 18th Annual Gasshuku event, happening from August 30th to September 1st, 2024 in Darlington. Friday's session is exclusively for Matayoshi Instructors, while Saturday welcomes all UK Martial Artists keen on Okinawan Kobudo, regardless of their style. No prior experience in MKKI kobudo is required. Sunday's training focuses on MKKI members, followed by grading later in the day. The training will be led by Sensei Franco Sanguinetti, an 8th Dan and direct student of Matayoshi Shinpo Sensei. The event will be located at Clifton Centre and Longfield School in Darlington. Training costs for MKKI - UK members are decided collectively and must be paid in full at least 4 weeks prior to the event to avoid a late fee. These fees are non-refundable, as they cover the costs of training. Non-MKKI Martial Artists can inquire about available hotel accommodation.
