This venue boasts a 30-metre pool, cleverly separated into a 25-metre training pool and a 5-metre leisure pool by a bulkhead. Plus, there are two special pools designed just for kids. All pools come with shade structures and are heated with geothermal steam for an unparalleled swimming experience.
Maurie knows that serious swimmers need the right conditions. During winter, spanning from the end of Term 1 to the end of Term 3, pool temperatures range from 32 to 38 degrees Celsius. Perfect for relaxation, but not for hard-core training. In summer, expect a refreshing 28 to 31 degrees Celsius.
Don’t miss the 8-metre by 10-metre spa pool, equipped with water jets and a soothing waterfall—ideal for post-training muscle relief. Maurie’s attention to accessibility features ensures everyone can enjoy the spa, with handrails and a hoist available. Spa temps hit 37 to 40 degrees Celsius in winter, adjusted as needed during summer.
For the younger crowd, the Splash Pad and Jumping Pillow are must-tries. Surrounded by spacious recreation and play areas, complete with barbecues and picnic tables, it’s an ideal setting for a day of sport and relaxation.
