Dave joined the team at MPAA in 2004 as the Music Director and Vocal Coach. He brings with him a wealth of experience in music and performance. With a diploma in music performance and teaching, Dave has a deep understanding of various musical instruments and vocal techniques. He has been teaching vocals and music theory for over 20 years.

In addition to his teaching role, Dave is an accomplished pianist and keyboardist. He often accompanies students during their lessons and performances, creating a supportive and collaborative environment. Dave is also responsible for organising and conducting our annual Summer Showcase, where students have the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of a live audience.

Throughout his career, Dave has worked closely with various choirs and musical theatre companies. He has a natural ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages and abilities. Dave's passion for music is contagious, and he strives to instil a love for music in each of his students.

In addition to our one-to-one instrument and vocal lessons, we offer a variety of dance classes in different genres. Whether you're interested in ballet, tap, hip-hop, contemporary-lyrical, or street-jazz, our experienced dance teachers will guide you through the steps and techniques needed to excel in your chosen style. We also offer GCSE Dance for those seeking academic qualifications in dance.

At Mayzmusik, we're not just a performing arts academy, we're a community. We offer club-style activities for both children and adults through our Spotlight Stars programme. Our students have the opportunity to perform at our annual Summer Showcase and participate in smaller community events throughout the year.
