Meeanee Badminton Club is the largest badminton club in Hawke's Bay, located in Napier, New Zealand. The club offers club sessions throughout the year, providing opportunities for players of all abilities to come and play the sport they love.
Club sessions take place on Monday nights from mid-March to the end of October, Thursday nights all year round, and Wednesday mornings throughout the year. The club also has a dedicated session for juniors on Thursday evenings from 5:30pm to 7pm, catering to primary and secondary school students aged 8 and above.
The club is based at the Meeanee Indoor Sport Centre on Gavin Black Street in Meeanee. The venue provides a well-equipped facility for players to enjoy their games and improve their skills.
Membership fees for the year 2022 are as follows: seniors pay $135, full-time students pay $100, and juniors pay $80 (with no weekly shuttle fee). Juniors who attend both the senior and junior club pay a reduced fee of $100, subject to approval by the committee. For non-affiliated players attending only the Wednesday morning sessions, the membership fee is $70. The shuttle fee for Meeanee members is $4 per session, while junior players enjoy a free shuttle fee.
Casual fees for non-members are $12 per session, and other affiliated club members pay $8 per session.
