Meirinkan Bedford Kendo Club

Meirinkan Bedford Kendo Club, led by Sensei Matt Marley, has been a welcoming space for kendo enthusiasts in the lovely town of Bedford since 2011. Affiliated with the British Kendo Association, the club opens its doors to both experienced fighters and those keen to start their kendo journey.

Fostering a warm and inclusive community, Meirinkan invites everyone aged 8 to 98 to join in the excitement. With a mix of adults and juniors, the club offers a balanced programme designed for all.

Join Meirinkan twice a week for training sessions that dive deep into the art of kendo, sharpening skills and broadening knowledge. This non-profit club thrives on the dedication of its members, providing a great environment without any financial motives.
