The Men's LJ Hooker Trophy at Flagstaff Hill Golf Club is definitely an event you don't want to miss. With a qualifying Stableford round followed by a Match Play elimination, it's a great opportunity to showcase your skills on the course.
Last year's winner, Simon Squire, really showed what he's made of, so who will come out on top this year? The qualifying round is set for Saturday, May 18th, so make sure you mark your calendars.
Remember, the entry fee is $5.00, and players must be available for all match play rounds to enter the event. It's important to note that red tees are a no-go for the qualifying round, with all match play rounds being played with blue tees.
If you reach the final rounds, tee times will be allocated based on the results sheet, but flexibility is key - you can negotiate a different time with your opponent if needed. And if you need to forfeit, be sure to inform the Pro Shop ahead of time to avoid any inconvenience for other players.
