Mercia Tang Soo Do

Men and children of all ages and skill levels, whether beginners or experienced martial artists, are invited to join Mercia Tang Soo Do's classes.

Led by Instructor Martyn Hubbard, a 3rd Dan black belt, the classes provide a safe and supportive environment to learn and grow. Martyn began his Tang Soo Do journey in 1998 and attained his 1st Dan black belt in 2002. With years of experience, he is dedicated to helping students build confidence, discipline, and self-defence skills.

Classes cater to different age groups and skill levels. The Little Ninjas class for children aged 3 to 5 introduces basic martial arts techniques in a fun way. The main class offers comprehensive training in hand and foot fighting, forms, self-defence, and weapons.

Class times are: Mondays, Little Ninjas from 6pm to 7pm, followed by the main class from 7pm to 8:30pm. On Thursdays, a beginners class runs from 6pm to 7:15pm, and an advanced class from 7:15pm to 8:30pm. The first class is free, and subsequent classes cost £5 each. Monthly payment options are available, and a one-time signup fee of £25 includes a free uniform.

Mercia Tang Soo Do also offers online joining and taster sessions for those wanting to try out the school before committing to regular training.
