Chun itself! . In 2003, I decided to establish Meridian Kung Fu – Brentwood, a branch of the academy dedicated to bringing the art of Wing Chun to the Brentwood community.
At Meridian Kung Fu – Brentwood, we pride ourselves on our commitment to building confidence and martial arts excellence in children and adults of all ages and abilities. With over 25 years of experience in teaching Wing Chun, our proven and professional teaching systems ensure that even complete beginners can become highly competent and confident martial artists.
For children aged between 3-17, we offer beginner classes that not only teach traditional martial arts skills but also focus on building life skills and self-confidence. Our specially designed programmes are aimed at creating amazing young martial artists who are ready to face the world.
Adults of all abilities can join our Wing Chun beginner classes. These classes introduce participants to the traditional martial arts skills of Wing Chun while also focusing on building confidence, improving health and well-being, and providing the ability to effectively defend oneself and their family if needed.
For those looking to push themselves further and become experts in the advanced elements within the Wing Chun system, we offer elite classes that specialise in weapons and advanced training. These classes are suitable for both adults and children who are dedicated to taking their martial arts practise to the next level.
Meridian Kung Fu – Brentwood is a part of Meridian Kung Fu UK Headquarters, which provides Wing Chun Martial Arts classes across Southend-on-Sea, Essex. Our classes cater to students starting from 5 years old and have no upper age limit. Wing Chun Kung Fu is a traditional martial art that suits all levels of fitness and abilities, making it accessible to anyone who wants to give martial arts a try. We welcome students with previous experience in Wing Chun, Kung Fu, or other martial arts disciplines such as Karate, Kickboxing, Judo, or MMA, as we cater to all levels of experience and ability.
Wing Chun Kung Fu is renowned as one of the most effective forms of unarmed combat practised throughout the world. If you have tried other martial arts or self-defence disciplines in the past and have not found them to be effective, we encourage you to give Wing Chun Kung Fu a try. Our class times are varied throughout the week to accommodate different schedules. We offer classes for little snakes and cranes, junior Wing Chun, teenage Wing Chun, adult Wing Chun, adult Wing Chun black belt, adult Wing Chun Chi Kung, and adult Wing Chun instructors. Our dedicated instructors, including Master Sata Chand, have extensive experience and expertise in teaching Wing Chun and are committed to helping each student reach their full potential.
