Metcalfe Skating School

Metcalfe Skating School is an ice skating club located in Metcalfe, offering a range of programs for skaters of all ages and skill levels. The club's founder, who fell in love with skating as a child, has since devoted their life to sharing that passion with others.

The club offers three main programs for children learning to skate: Parent & Tot (ages 2-3), Pre-School Learn to Skate (age 3-4), and Learn to Skate (age 5+). Lessons are held on Mondays at 6pm and Wednesdays at 5pm and 6pm at the Larry Robinson Arena. These programs focus on teaching basic skating skills to help children progress in their skating journey and potentially move on to other sports like hockey and ringette.

Metcalfe Skating School is dedicated to improving skaters' power, agility, and strength on the ice. The club's goal is to make skating skills more efficient, allowing skaters to transition with flow and ease. With programs like Amanda Cooper Power Skating & Edge Development, skaters can hone their skills and reach their full potential.

The club is deeply rooted in the Metcalfe community, with all coaches having grown up skating in the area. With over 26 years of coaching experience within the club, the coaches are committed to supporting the growth and development of young skaters.
