The Michelle Gibbs Academy of Dance & Theatre Arts in Rushden invites both children and adults to explore their creativity through Dance, Drama, and Musical Theatre. Founded by Michelle in 1998, it has over 180 pupils and offers classes in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Contemporary, Freestyle, Street, Jazz, Yoga, and more.
Classes are designed to be fun and engaging, helping students build confidence, coordination, strength, and improve their mobility and flexibility. The Academy also nurtures creativity, empathy, and communication skills by exploring various ideas and values.
Students can participate in graded examinations by the ISTD and medal tests by the IDTA. The Academy hosts a biennial show at a local theatre and invites students to perform at community events, with a special opportunity to perform at Her Majesty's Theatre in London.
Classes are held at The Pemberton Centre in Rushden, offering a safe and suitable space for learning. Principal Michelle Gibbs, with over 30 years of experience and numerous qualifications in dance and theatre arts, leads the Academy.

We welcome both children and adults, with classes available from 18 months through to adults.
