Led by Michelle Glover herself, the academy specialises in NZAMD Jazz and Ballet, and also offers Contemporary and Private Lessons.

Michelle Glover, the owner and principal teacher, has been involved in the dance industry since 1984. With her wealth of experience, Michelle not only teaches dance but also adjudicates competitions in ballet, jazz, and tap. She is passionate about sharing her love for dance and has choreographed multiple shows for Hawera Repertory and Hawera High School. Michelle is supported by a team of dedicated teaching assistants, including Julia Scott.

Julia Scott, one of the teaching assistants, started dancing at a young age and instantly fell in love with it. After joining Taranaki Youth Dance Company, a professional dance company based in New Plymouth, in 2022, Julia decided to pursue teaching to share her passion for dance and help others experience the same sense of pride and accomplishment. She has been teaching at Michelle Glover Academy of Dance since 2021.
