Basketball Tasmania is thrilled to announce the upcoming Mid-Winter Classic, which was previously known as the Launceston Classic. This event is the largest junior basketball event in Tasmania and is a must-attend for all basketball enthusiasts. With 138 teams and 293 games scheduled for the weekend of June 8th and June 9th, 2024, this is definitely an event you don't want to miss.
The Mid-Winter Classic will be held at Elphin Sports Centre, St Patrick’s College, Deloraine Community Complex, and Scotch Oakburn College, with surrounding venues available if needed. The entry fee for a team is $300, which covers the team entry cost as well as door entry for the team. It's important to note that each team must provide a referee for their games to keep things running smoothly.
Registration for the event closes on Sunday, May 5th at 11:30 pm, so make sure to secure your spot before it's too late.
