About
Football enthusiasts of all ages and skills, welcome to Reddish North End FC! Based at The Mike Doyle Centre in Stockport, this club has been a staple of the community since 2000, thanks to founders who wanted to give local youngsters more playtime.
Under Chairman John Hargreaves' leadership, the club earned FA Charter Standard status and is now FA England Accredited. All managers are fully qualified and cleared with DBS checks, ensuring a safe and professional environment. The club has standardised kits, with slight tweaks for each team.
In 2011, they added girls' football, which now has 11 teams. In 2016, they started Walking Football, giving senior players a fun way to stay fit and connected.
The Mike Doyle Centre is their main base, offering great facilities, including catering, changing rooms, and pitches. In 2019, they expanded to North Reddish Park, adding more pitches and a clubhouse.
Reddish North End FC is all about community. From young players honing their skills to adults enjoying a supportive environment, everyone is welcome. They even have programmes like Soccer Tots, Soccer School, and Wildcats for the little ones.
For older teens, there's the Reddish North End Football College. This two-year programme combines professional training with academic studies, prepping students for careers in sports.
The club is proud of its accolades, including the Grounds Team of the Year award at the Manchester FA Grassroots Awards 2023. They attribute their success to dedicated volunteers and a strong sense of community, fostering growth, excellence, and a lifelong love of football.
