Mingara Regional Athletics Centre

The Mingara Regional Athletics Centre in Tumbi Umbi is a world-class synthetic track and field athletics facility. It is a unique regional facility that attracts approximately 6,000 casual visitors every month. The facility is home to the Central Coast Academy of Sport, Tuggerah Lakes Mingara Little Athletics Club, and Mingara Athletics Club.

The track is made of synthetic material and meets national standards. It provides athletes with an optimal surface for training and competition. In addition to the track, the facility also features a national standard playing field for field events.

The Mingara Regional Athletics Centre has specific opening hours to accommodate athletes and visitors. It is closed on Mondays and Fridays, and on Sundays, opening hours are limited. On other days, it opens in the afternoon and remains open until late in the evening.

The facility offers both casual visits and weekly membership options. Casual visits cost $7 for adults and $5 for children aged 5-17 and concession holders. For frequent visitors, a weekly pass can be purchased via direct debit. This pass costs $7 per week for adults and $5 for children and concession holders.

Members of the Mingara Recreation Club receive a 10% discount on food and beverages at the track kiosk and earn reward points on their purchases.

Members of the Mingara One Fitness Passport also have access to the track at no additional cost. They only need to bring their membership card and swipe it at the kiosk on each visit.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, the facility has established track etiquette guidelines. These guidelines are in place to promote the safety and well-being of everyone using the track.

The facility is available for bookings by schools, community groups, and sporting organisations. Many schools in the Central Coast region already use the facility for their athletics carnivals. Bookings can be made seven days a week, from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm.
