Mississauga Canoe Club

Established in 1958, the Mississauga Canoe Club is a destination for athletes of all skill levels to pursue their passion for sprint canoe and kayak. With a team of experienced coaches, rigorous training programs and a positive atmosphere, the club is committed to helping members achieve their personal best and celebrate their accomplishments.

Located in the heart of Mississauga, the club offers a variety of programs to cater to different age groups and interests. The Summer Camp program, designed for children aged 7-14, provides a fun and engaging introduction to the sport of Olympic sprint canoe and kayak. Youth Racing offers a platform for children aged 8-14 to participate in fun, fitness and competition, with no prior experience required and all equipment provided. The High Performance program is tailored for individuals aged 12-24 who are motivated to train, compete and excel in the sport of paddling.

In addition to youth programs, the Mississauga Canoe Club also offers opportunities for adults to get involved in the sport. The Masters program caters to experienced and beginner paddlers over the age of 25 who are looking to train and compete at a high level. The Adult Fitness program provides strength, fitness, and Paddle Pool sessions for adults of all ages and abilities.

For individuals with physical disabilities, the club offers a Para program that allows them to participate in the sport of Canoe and Kayak. The club is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all members, regardless of their age or physical abilities.

Due to the temporary closure mandated by the City of Mississauga in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Mississauga Canoe Club is currently offering virtual programs and updates on social media platforms.
