Fish Swim School and now Mother Goose Swim School. I'm excited to continue my passion for teaching swimming and helping others develop their skills in the water.

At Mother Goose Swim School, we understand that every swimmer is unique and has different needs. That's why we tailor our lessons to cater to the individual needs of each swimmer. Our hand-picked teachers, all highly qualified, are committed to providing personalised attention and ensuring that every swimmer receives correction and praise in a one-on-one setting.

Safety is a top priority at Mother Goose Swim School. In addition to teaching how to swim, we also provide annual lifesaving tutorials to ensure that our swimmers are equipped with the necessary skills to stay safe in the water. We believe in boosting confidence, using positive reinforcement, and creating a fun and enjoyable learning environment for our swimmers.

Founded in 2018 by Amy Gander, Mother Goose Swim School is the realisation of a lifelong dream. Amy's journey in swimming and teaching started at a young age, and she has acquired multiple qualifications in swimming instruction. After a car accident, teaching swimming became her main focus, and she has worked for various swim schools before opening her own. Amy's aspiration is to share the gift of swimming with as many children and adults in Hailsham and the surrounding areas as possible.

The team at Mother Goose Swim School consists of passionate individuals who share a love for swimming and teaching. Kate, a qualified Level 2 Swimming Teacher, has been involved in swimming since she was young and now enjoys teaching others while pursuing her passion for photography. Cassie, with over 8 years of experience as a swimming teacher, brings her expertise in making swimming safe and fun to the team.

Mother Goose Swim School takes pride in keeping their classes small, with no more than 5 swimmers in a class. This allows for individualised attention and ensures that each swimmer's efforts are praised and celebrated. We believe that every swimmer has the potential to develop their skills and find their love for swimming, and we are here to inspire them on their journey.
