Mount Arrowsmith Skating Club

The Mount Arrowsmith Skating Club, located in Port Alberni, has been a staple in the community since 1973, providing quality instruction in skating skills to youth in the Alberni Valley. The club offers Skate Canada programs with certified instructors for CanSkate, StarSkate figure skating, and Special Olympic skaters.

The CanSkate program is an action-packed Learn-to-Skate program that allows skaters to quickly improve their skills while enjoying themselves on the ice. The StarSkate Junior Academy teaches the basics of figure skating, while the Senior program further develops skills, grace, and poise on the ice.

Special Olympics skaters at Mount Arrowsmith Skating Club participate in developing their skating skills and take part in local and provincial competitions. The club takes pride in offering a supportive and inclusive environment for all skaters to learn and grow in their skating abilities.
