Located on Albany Highway in Mount Barker, the Mount Barker Memorial Swimming Pool is a popular destination for locals and visitors in the area. Opening annually from November to April, the pool offers a range of facilities and activities for all ages to enjoy.

Additionally, there is a half basketball court for those who want to take a break from swimming and engage in some friendly competition.
The pool caters to both unstructured swimming and organised activities. Swimming lessons are available for those who want to improve their swimming skills, and there is also a swimming club for those who wish to participate in regular swimming events and carnivals.
The opening hours of the pool vary throughout the week. On weekdays from Monday to Friday, the pool is open from 9am to 6pm. On weekends and public holidays, the pool opens at 12pm and closes at 6pm. Those who prefer to swim in the morning can take advantage of the morning laps session, which runs from 6:30am to 9am.
Evening lap swimming is also available from 6pm to 6:30pm.
Admission fees to the pool are reasonable, with children aged 5 years and under being able to enter for free when accompanied by a paying adult. Leisure swimming for children aged 5–16 years costs $4, while adults aged 17 years and over pay $6 for entry. Concession holders, including Healthcare and Pension Card holders, can enter for $4. Spectators are allowed to enter for free.
For regular visitors who want to save on admission fees, season passes are available for purchase at the Mount Barker Memorial Swimming Pool. Children aged 5 years and under can obtain a free season pass when accompanied by a paying adult. Season passes for juniors (5-16 years) cost $53, while adults (17 years and over) pay $150. Concession season passes are priced at $100 for Healthcare and Pension Card holders.
Families can purchase a family season pass for $320, which covers two adults and two children, with additional family members charged $35 each.
In addition to regular swimming activities, the Mount Barker Memorial Swimming Pool offers various aquatic programmes. The fees for these programmes are set at cost plus staff time. Swimming classes for school students and vacation swimming classes are available for a fee of $3, unless the participant holds a season pass. After-hours group bookings can also be made for a fee of $100 per hour, while swimming carnival set-up fees are determined based on the event's specific requirements.
