Mount Eliza Junior Football Club

Mount Eliza Junior Football Club, formed in 1970, is a prominent member of the AFL South East / FDJFL (Frankston and District Junior Football League). With over 34 teams ranging from AusKick and Under 8s to Under 18s, the MEJFC is an exceptional club both on and off the field.

The club emphasises that above all else, the most important thing is that all the kids have fun. They strive to create an enjoyable and supportive environment for their young players to learn and develop their skills, making it a fantastic place for youngsters to nurture their passion for AFL football.

MEJFC holds an Annual General Meeting (AGM) where members, friends, and family are encouraged to attend and voice their opinions and ideas. The 2023 AGM is scheduled for Wednesday 29th November at 7pm at the Junior club rooms, and the club urges all members to notify the secretary via email of their attendance.

To maintain the enthusiasm for the sport during the off-season, the club organises Summer Squad Training Sessions for the upcoming season. These sessions provide an opportunity for players to reconnect with their teammates and prepare for the next season. New registered players are also welcome to join these training sessions, which offer specialist sessions focusing on nutrition, fitness, and various skills like tackling and kicking techniques. These sessions cater to all age groups, ensuring that every player has access to valuable coaching and development opportunities.

The MEJFC is also actively seeking volunteers who are passionate about footy to coach their young and talented players. The club looks for individuals who love AFL, possess great communication skills, act as positive role models, and have a willingness to develop and improve all players within a team. Coaches at MEJFC receive ample support and guidance as they embrace the club's “One Club” culture.
