Body and mind felt a sense of relief and rejuvenation. I became fascinated with the practise and its ability to heal and transform.
Over the years, I have dedicated myself to studying and deepening my knowledge of yoga therapy. I have completed various courses and trainings, including a specialised certification in Multiple Sclerosis Yoga Therapy. This has allowed me to develop a unique approach to supporting individuals with MS in their journey towards improved health and wellbeing.
In my classes, whether they are in-person or online, I prioritise creating a safe and inclusive space for all students. I believe that yoga is for everybody, regardless of age or ability. My expertise lies in working with individuals over 50, but I also offer specialised online classes for students with MS. These classes are tailored to address the specific needs and challenges that individuals with MS may face, such as fatigue, muscle weakness, and balance issues.
When you attend one of my classes, you will experience a holistic approach to yoga therapy. I incorporate various yoga techniques, including postures, breathing exercises, relaxation, meditation, and sound work, to create a well-rounded practise that nurtures both the body and mind. Each class is designed with intention and personalised to meet the unique needs of every student.
In addition to group classes, I also offer 1-2-1 sessions for those who prefer a more individualised approach. These sessions can be conducted in person or over Zoom, allowing for flexibility and convenience. During a 1-2-1 session, I will provide personalised guidance and support to help you develop a practise that serves your specific goals and requirements.
As a perpetual student myself, I am constantly learning and evolving in my understanding of the body and how yoga therapy can be utilised to improve overall health and wellbeing. I encourage my students to listen to their bodies and honour their own boundaries and limitations. This emphasis on self-awareness and self-care is at the core of my teaching philosophy.
