However, those individuals who were unable to complete the course before the lockdown are strongly encouraged to contact the club for an update. Formed four decades ago, Muckamore Company of Archers has steadily grown into a flourishing club with over eighty members. They offer a unique and enjoyable “have a go” archery experience, which is not only entertaining but also holds historical significance as one of the oldest sports still played in the same way as recorded in history.
For those interested in shooting times, the club's main facility, known as the Burnside Barn, opens its doors on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 7pm to 9pm. Throughout the summer months, the club also organises outdoor shooting sessions at Ballyclare Rugby Club on Thursdays and Fridays, running from May to mid-September. However, please note that these sessions are always subject to weather and light conditions.
