Mudgee Aero Club

Mudgee Aero Club is a sports club located in the Mid-Western Regional Council in Australia. Established in 1947 by a dedicated group of pilots, aircraft owners, and aviation enthusiasts, the club has a long-standing tradition of fostering a love for aviation in the Mudgee district. The club has played a significant role in creating a beautiful airport and ensuring a safe flying environment for both locals and visitors.

The clubhouse, situated within the grounds of YMDG, offers sealed access to RW 04/22. It serves as the central hub for the club's social activities and provides a peaceful spot for weary pilots and their passengers to relax. Visitors can enjoy a cup of tea, grab a bite to eat, have a quick rest, or seek shelter from inclement weather. Additionally, Mudgee Aero Club takes pride in being the home of the famous Wings Wheels and Wine event.

The club also offers convenient accommodation options with its Airport B&B. Designed to ensure a relaxed and comfortable stay for pilots and passengers, this accommodation is conveniently located right on the airport grounds. The Airport B&B provides secure, clean, and quiet rooms, along with shared bathroom facilities. Guests have access to a spacious air-conditioned lounge area, a fully equipped kitchen, and BBQ facilities.

There are four twin rooms available, each featuring two single beds. Bed linen and towels are provided for convenience. Additionally, the club offers a courtesy car for guests to use during their stay.
