Mudra Om Yoga, based in Maidenhead, Berkshire and surrounding areas, offers yoga classes and retreats designed to bring calm and tranquilly to busy lives. This holistic approach allows students to experience the wonderful benefits of yoga for physical health and mental wellbeing.
Lorraine, the founder of Mudra Om Yoga, discovered her passion for yoga several years ago. It quickly became an integral part of her life, providing a powerful tool for grounding, recharging, and finding inner peace. As a runner and office worker, Lorraine also noticed the benefits of improved posture and muscle flexibility from her yoga practise.
Motivated to share these benefits with others, Lorraine embarked on a journey to India, the birthplace of yoga. She completed her 200-hour teacher training at Sampoorna Yoga School in Goa, specialising in Ashtanga and Vinyasa styles. Lorraine further expanded her expertise by completing a 60-hour teacher training in Yin Yoga.
Lorraine is a certified member of the Yoga Alliance and is grateful for the ongoing physical and mental benefits that yoga brings to her own life. She is passionate about sharing this practise with others, offering yoga classes in Maidenhead, Berkshire, and neighbouring areas such as Henley and Marlow.
Mudra Om Yoga offers a range of classes to meet different needs and preferences. “Magic Mondays” is a dynamic Vinyasa yoga class held in the evening, designed to start the week with positivity and relaxation. On Fridays, Ashtanga Primary Series classes are available via Zoom, suitable for beginners, intermediates, and advanced practitioners. These classes promote coordination, strength, flexibility, and overall wellbeing.
For those who prefer to practise from the comfort of their own homes, Mudra Om Yoga also offers dynamic Vinyasa yoga classes via Zoom on Mondays. Lorraine provides a relaxing and supportive environment, guiding students through the practise and allowing them to find their inner peace.
In addition to regular classes, Mudra Om Yoga also offers private one-on-one sessions tailored to individual needs and goals. Retreats and workshops are also available, allowing participants to delve deeper into their yoga practise and connect with like-minded individuals.
