Murray Golf Course

Murray Golf Course, managed by Western Golf Management Ltd, is a picturesque golf course located in Regina, Saskatchewan. Designed by renowned architect Stanley Thompson in 1928 and opened in 1950, the course was rebuilt with irrigation and grass greens in 1960 by then director of Parks and Recreation, Bill Murray. The layout of the course takes advantage of the park's level to rolling landscape and stunning trees, providing a serene and challenging environment for golfers of all skill levels.

The bunkers on the course are strategically placed to enhance play, in line with Thompson's philosophy. The signature hole, the 5th, is also the longest, measuring 563 yards from the championship tees. This hole features a narrow fairway with out of bounds on the right, as well as two large bunkers guarding the approaches to the narrow green, adding an element of challenge and excitement to the game.

Operating from April to October, weather permitting, Murray Golf Course offers a range of facilities including an 18-hole Championship course, driving range, food and beverage services, power cars, club and cart rentals, and lesson programs. The course is managed by PGA of Canada professional Gus Vogelsang, who ensures that all players have an enjoyable experience on the course.
