Muscle & Fitness is one of Kirwan's best-equipped fitness centres, serving the Townsville area since 1983. With two convenient locations in Hyde Park and Kirwan, Muscle & Fitness offers a range of fitness programmes and services to help individuals achieve their health and fitness goals.

At the Hyde Park location, members will find a wide variety of resistance training equipment, including free weights, pin weights, and an outdoor functional training area. The centre also boasts an extensive cardio floor, featuring Stairmasters, concept rowers, treadmills, cross trainers, and stationary bikes. Additionally, Muscle & Fitness Hyde Park provides sauna facilities and a crche, offering convenience for those looking to bring their children while they work out. The centre also offers a range of supplements to support members' fitness journeys.

Muscle & Fitness Hyde Park is open 24 hours a day, providing members with the flexibility to work out at their convenience. The centre is staffed from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, Saturday from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, and Sunday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Members enjoy free 24-hour access, and fitness passport holders are also welcomed free of charge.

The team at Muscle & Fitness recognises that personalised training can greatly support individuals in achieving their fitness goals. That's why the fitness centre offers a range of personal trainers to cater to different needs. Personal trainers at Muscle & Fitness include Danny Blaivas, who specialises in general well-being and fitness, fat loss and body transformations, competition preparation, and rehabilitation. Zoe O'Connor from Fitness by Zoe focuses on empowering and educating women to achieve their goals through real and sustainable lifestyle changes.

Louise Lodge from Lodgical PT & Wellness offers personal training and yoga, while Dee Kirby from Dee Bomb PT offers training for weight loss and well-being, muscle gain and body transformations, and competition preparation.

Muscle & Fitness is dedicated to providing a space where both men and women can achieve their fitness goals. The centre offers a ladies-only gym at the Kirwan location. The Kirwan facility features a range of equipment and services, similar to the Hyde Park location, including free weights, pin weights, cardio machines, and an outdoor functional training area. The Kirwan centre is staffed from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 8:00 pm, Saturday from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm, and Sunday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Like the Hyde Park centre, 24-hour access is available to members and fitness passport holders free of charge.

Muscle & Fitness also offers childcare services for the convenience of parents looking to work on their health and well-being. The centre provides childminding services on weekdays and Saturdays, allowing parents to focus on their workouts while ensuring their children are well taken care of. Childcare services are available for a nominal fee per hour per child, with various pass options available for cost savings. Bookings for childcare are essential.
