Just wanted to share some exciting news from Karen Robinson, our local dance enthusiast. Karen and her daughter Ella run Muse Dance in Slough, a brilliant dance school that combines two local favourites: Karen Robinson School of Dancing and Madelaine Kelly School of Dancing.
Karen started her school back in 2006 in Cippenham, and it's since expanded to Holyport, Burnham, and, of course, Cippenham. The Madelaine Kelly School, started in 1992, covers Wargrave and Hare Hatch. Both schools have been known for their friendly and inclusive approach to quality dance training.
At Muse Dance, you'll find a varied timetable with classes like Pre Primary Ballet, Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, and Dance Company. The school also puts on shows and performances, giving students an amazing chance to shine.
One key strength of Muse Dance is its excellent exam results. Students can take RAD and ISTD examinations, though it's not compulsory. When kids reach the required standard, they can progress to the next levels.
Muse Dance has a free taster lesson for all new students and doesn't charge an upfront joining fee. Plus, parents can watch their child's class towards the end of the term to see how they're doing. Safety is a top priority, with all teachers fully qualified, holding first aid certificates, police checks, and staying up to date with child protection procedures.
