Musuko Karate Academy

Sensei Simon Crowther and the team at Musuko Karate Academy would like to extend a warm welcome to the sports community. Located right in Fleetwood, the academy offers quality training in Shotokan karate under the guidance of Sensei Simon, a seasoned 4th Dan instructor.

Musuko Karate Academy is proud to be affiliated with the English Karate Federation and the esteemed World Karate Federation, the only World Governing Body for Karate recognised by the International Olympic Committee. This affiliation provides students with opportunities to attend seminars, compete at national and international levels, and participate in trials for the English Karate Federation 'A' squad.

The academy caters to all ages and skill levels, conducting classes in a safe, friendly, and disciplined environment. There is a strong focus on kihon (basics), adhering to traditional teaching methods to ensure a solid foundation in karate. All instructors are fully qualified, DBS checked, first aid trained, and insured, ensuring high standards of instruction.

Sensei Simon takes pride in the development and progression of students, with a mission to inspire, learn, and achieve. In addition to regular training, Musuko Karate Academy has an Elite Tournament Squad Team and a Junior and Youth Kata Squad Team competing nationally and internationally. There are also students who are proud members of the English Karate Federation 'A' squad.
