Founded in 1999, Nam Yang has been making a positive impact within the local community for over 20 years. Many of their students and families come from lower-income backgrounds, and Nam Yang specifically provides for their needs.
Nam Yang Brighton is the first Martial Arts Club of Sanctuary in the UK, recognised for their outstanding work with refugees and asylum seekers. In addition to traditional martial arts training, they also incorporate mindfulness and meditation techniques to promote holistic well-being. Whether you are interested in Kung Fu, kickboxing, Savate (a speciality of theirs), or Chi Gong, Nam Yang offers classes suitable for all skill levels.
Their classes are taught in a relaxed, safe, and friendly environment from their full-time combat sport and martial arts centre.
