Narooma Pilates is a popular Pilates studio located in the beautiful coastal town of Narooma, New South Wales. Situated at Level 1, 46 Princes Highway, above the Narooma Ice Creamery, the studio provides a serene and inviting environment for individuals of all fitness levels to practise Pilates.
Led by Daisy Heathcote, a highly experienced instructor with a background in physiology, dance, and barre, Narooma Pilates offers mat work classes that incorporate various small apparatus such as bands, small balls, bolsters, and Pilates circles. With 21 years of Pilates experience, including 9 years as a teacher, Daisy's classes are centred around traditional Pilates techniques infused with dance-based stretching and strengthening movements.
Pilates is renowned for being a complete body workout that targets both smaller and larger muscle groups. It aims to increase flexibility, promote mindfulness, and enhance body awareness through movement. Each class at Narooma Pilates focuses on specific areas including the abdominal/core, glutes, legs and hips, upper and lower back, and shoulders and arms.
The studio itself, Studio Blue Movement and Wellbeing, provides a calm and welcoming space for clients to engage in their Pilates practise. The location offers a peaceful escape from the outside world, allowing participants to fully immerse themselves in the exercises and movements.
Class times are available throughout the week to accommodate different schedules. Narooma Pilates offers classes on Monday at 9:15am and 5:30pm, Tuesday at 9:15am, Thursday at 9am, Friday at 9am, and Saturday at 8:00am.
For those interested in attending classes, Narooma Pilates offers various pricing options. Clients can choose from a casual class for $18, a 5-class pass for $85, a 10-class pass for $160, or a weekly membership for $36, which allows unlimited access to studio classes. Additionally, a discounted price of $9 is available for Studio Blue Dance students attending classes on Saturdays and during school holidays (participants must be over 13 years of age).
