Looking to try something new? Check out Navenby Bowls Club on the John Cutforth Memorial Field in Navenby, Lincolnshire. With over 50 members, this friendly club has it all for lawn bowls lovers.

Keen to get on the green? Weather permitting, drop by the Friday and Saturday afternoon “roll-ups” at 2pm. Great chance to bowl a bit, meet some new mates, and have a cuppa. First three visits are free, then it’s just £30 for the year.

If league action’s more your style, matches are held Monday to Wednesday evenings and Thursday afternoons. Pop by to watch, and don't forget to grab a tea afterwards for a small fee.

The highlight? The Navenby Bowls Festival in late August. Top players from Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire turn up, there's gear for sale, and all-day food. Not to miss!

And for the cooler months? Indoor carpet bowling takes place on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at the new Venue @ Navenby Community Centre.
